Tank Simulator Software

A cost-effective simulator was developed for the Australian Army to train individual gunners, a troop and commander. Software was developed for the Leopard II Main Battle Tank and Australian Light Armoured Vehicle (ASLAV), interfacing directly with the hardware controls. This familiarizes trainees with the procedures as well as the physical controls. Software is provided on a standard desktop computer and it interfaces via various digital input and output (DIO) and analog signals via digital to analog and analog to digital converters (DACs and ADCs).
